The Colt That Honored “The Duke”
The Colt Single Action Army needs no introduction — adopted by the U.S. Army in 1873 and immortalized on screen for decades after. In 1982, Colt paid tribute to the man most synonymous with the American West on film: John “The Duke” Wayne, star of nearly 200 movie and TV roles. Only 3,100 of these commemoratives were ever made, each featuring a gold-inlaid portrait of Wayne on the cylinder, his signature on the grip strap, and scroll engraving on the frame and barrel. Serial CJWC2747, in its original blued-and-gold-plated finish, is as much a piece of film history as it is a Colt collectible.
Unfired Cold War History: The IMI Uzi Mini Carbine
Manufactured by Israel Military Industries and imported by Action Arms, this Mini Uzi Carbine is about as close to time-capsule condition as it gets: unfired, “Like New,” complete with its original case, 20-round magazine, faux short barrel, standard 16″ barrel, sling, front sight tool, manual, and warranty card. It’s a hands-on artifact of Israeli small-arms engineering and a centerpiece for any Cold War or movie-era collection — serial MC03477.
The Rifle That Redefined Long-Range Warfare
Designed by Ronnie Barrett in the early 1980s, the M82A1 gave militaries the ability to strike vehicles, radar installations, and fortified positions at extreme range — a capability once reserved for crew-served heavy weapons. It saw combat in Operation Desert Storm and has remained in service through Afghanistan and Iraq. This example (serial 20092) features a 32″ fluted, chrome-lined barrel, a mounted Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50mm optic, and ships in its original Pelican case with two magazines.
